Electron Microscopy Sciences Cryo-CoverTAG™ Label 7/8 x 2", Clear on 1" core
These labels have a permanent adhesive for frozen surfaces and are ideal for relabeling frozen vials when removing the existing label is not possible. They will completely obscure the existing label and "black-out" the information underneath. The relabeled frozen vials can be stored back inside liquid nitrogen or a freezer for long-term preservation.
Labels are compatible with most brands of thermal transfer printers. For proper adherence to the frozen surface, we recommend applying the Cryo-CoverTAG labels with an overlap of the transparent part of at least 0.25".

High temperature-resistant permanent labels for identifying various containers and surfaces that undergo autoclaving and dry heat sterilization. Temperature range from -60°C to +150°C (-76°F to +300°F). The labels can be applied to metal, plastic, and glass surfaces and withstand 20 autoclave sterilization cycles at +121°C (+250°F) and 16.5 psi pressure. The labels and the printout can withstand high temperature exposures as well as gamma irradiation (up to 50 KGy) and ethylene oxide sterilization.
